As an Occupational Therapist in a Neuro - Rehab department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within the Birmingham community. This is a locum position with competitive pay, travel compensation, and the flexibility of working from home while providing essential services in the community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with neurological conditions.
* Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
* Utilising sensory integration techniques to support patient rehabilitation.
* Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
* Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the Neuro - Rehab department.
Requirements:
1. HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
2. Degree in Occupational Therapy.
3. Minimum qualification/training as a Sensory Integration Practitioner.
4. Experience in neuro-rehabilitation is highly desirable.
