We are actively recruiting for a ' Sales Support Administrator ' to join a global company who have their UK Head office based in Milton Keynes. The position offers remote working for 1 day a week, and the 4 remaining days MUST be office based. Overall objective: Provide accurate and on time administrative service and support to the account managers and wider team to deliver a superior customer experience and consistently great service. Main Responsibilities: Ensure World Class Service for Customers. Providing business support to Key Account Manager(s). Cultivate customer relationships within portfolio of accounts. Prepare and maintain customer accounts, containing all aspects of prices codes and contacts. Preparation of quotes for review by key account managers prior to confirmation to customers. Assist in managing commercial projects in collaboration with key account managers. Customer Presentations - prepare presentations for Technical Department as and when required. Supporting in the business reviews, which happen twice a year. Ensure an efficient service on all aspects of Customer Documentation, Questionnaires, Product Information Documents etc. Customer visit support. Managing multiple competing priorities for yourself and the sales team. Processing sample requests, trial orders and price quotations, from initiation through to completion, and ensuring system accuracy and customer and internal satisfaction throughout. Take ownership for transitioning Customer projects / new wins from scale up to production - preparation of monthly reports of New Wins. Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries using systems knowledge, creative investigation, innovative follow up and problem solving techniques. Provide the business with timely information on client's requests, insights, and communications. Communicating effectively with the teams who are often out on the road or are not UK based. Have personal leadership skills and the ability to build strong relationships across functions. Investigate and assist in resolving customer complaints as necessary. Monitor customer market products, and brands using Global New Product Database and trade journals. Preparation of results for Monthly reviews with Key Account Managers. Functional Skills and Competencies: Effectively use KPIs to monitor performance. Demonstrates ability to develop sales relationships with key customers to win business. Possesses ability to generate new business, with assistance of experienced account professionals. Holds basic knowledge of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, and launch processes. Knowledge of competitor activities with key customers. Possesses ability to assist in sales presentation development and delivery. Has the ability to capture and clearly communicate brief requirements. Understands annual budgetary parameters (Annual Operating Plan process). Develops effective relationships with colleagues. Holds basic negotiations skills. Position Qualifications/Experience: University degree preferred or 2 year's experience in a role supporting sales manager/s or in B 2 B customer service. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers. Demonstrated ability to develop basic Account Development Plan. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP & Sales Force is essential. Required competencies: Communicates clearly in written and verbal form. Demonstrates effective listening skills. Excellent administrative skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in work produced. Ability to learn new software systems. Can work under pressure and prioritise to meet deadlines.
