Our highly respected Douglas-based Finance Sector company is seeking to add to their team with the hire an experienced Tax Administrator / Assistant Manager.
As Tax Administrator you will undertake UK and IOM tax compliance activities for individuals, trusts and companies, additionally providing tax consultancy services to clients.Duties will include:
* Accurate preparation of UK and IOM tax returns by the statutory filing dates
* Maintaining up to date knowledge of tax legislation and current tax practices
* Management of workflow and tasks
* Management of daily issues
* Provide accurately completed detailed technical work
The ideal candidate for the role of Tax Administrator will have:
* Part qualified or be working towards ATT, CTA or similar relevant qualification. Qualified by experience would also be considered
* A background of working with offshore tax structures
* An understanding of how to complete UK and IOM Tax computations for trust companies and individuals
* An understanding of the Isle of Man Tax Regime
* Ability to assimilate and apply acquired technical tax knowledge
* Strong, confident communication skills
* Self motivated with a structured approach to work and a team player
Desirable:
* A working knowledge of UK Tax
