Contract Manager
Location: This role spans multiple contracts across the country, ideal for someone based in Southwest Midlands who loves variety and adventure as you’ll work between sites in the field and home. Gloucester or Bristol are preferred locations.

What you’ll do:
As a Contract Manager, you’ll oversee the vital work of maintaining grounds, trees, and vegetation along rivers and embankments. Some projects will challenge your leadership with highly mechanized machinery and large-scale operations. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you’ll ensure every project meets our exceptional standards in safety, environment, quality, customer service, and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
* Crafting and maintaining schedules for planned works.
* Conducting site visits, pricing, and quoting for projects.
* Building and nurturing strong client relationships through meetings and clear communication.
* Managing NEC contracts, including early warnings and compensation events.
* Overseeing budgets and P&L accounts.
* Upholding high health and safety standards with thorough risk assessments and method statements.
* Anticipating and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth delivery.
* Leading a dynamic team: managing one Contract Manager and 5+ field teams (subcontractors).
* Addressing resource gaps and bringing in the best talent when needed.
