This good Secondary School based in Liverpool are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated DT Teacher to join their progressive team. This will be a long term role starting ASAP through until end of academic year teaching DT with Woodwork and Construction to KS3 and KS4. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join our team and inspire the next generation of designers and engineers.
As a A DT Teacher you'll be expected to:
* Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
* Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
* Maintain discipline.
* Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
* Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
* Have a passion for teaching secondary History and Politics
* To deliver History to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 - 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
* Teach a diverse range of DT topics, including Woodwork and Construction.
The Successful DT Teacher must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience Of Teaching History
* Experience of Teaching Politics
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Able to provide Referees.
* An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Passionate about teaching History
