Job Summary
Bolton CAMHS is currently seeking an 8A Specialist CAMHS Practitioner, who has specialist therapeutic modality training, to lead on co-ordination of therapy provision within the team.

The role will include undertaking highly specialist assessments, psychological formulation and evidence-based intervention and therapy, including clinical casework and the provision of consultation and supervision.
The post holder will also be part of the Senior Leadership Team. They will take a lead in managing therapy waitlists, capacity, allocation for, and throughput of therapy. They will support co-ordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings and discussions in relation to complex cases.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide services that meet the agreed service priorities in line with their experience and expertise including:
* Taking a lead in managing therapy waitlists, capacity, allocation for, and throughput of therapy. Co-ordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings and consultation.
* Responsibility for assessment, formulation, management, and treatment of children and young people with severe and complex problems.
* Providing highly specialist psychological assessments of children and young people, based on appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources, including psychometric tests, self-report measures, rating scales, structured observations and semi-structured interviews, with children, family members and others involved in the children's care.
* Providing appropriate bio-psycho-social formulations, consultation and advice based upon analyses of the range of available psychological information concerning children and their situation, relationships, and disabilities.
* Exercising responsibility for implementing a range of psychological interventions with young people, their families, and carers, adjusting, interpreting, and reformulating the psychological models as appropriate based on feedback, monitoring and follow up.
* Supervising, where appropriate, the delivery of highly complex psychological interventions as part of multi-disciplinary care planning.
