Operating across multiple sites in Hampshire and Dorset, the company is highly acquisitive, with ambitious plans for further growth. It is an exciting time to join the business and make a meaningful impact.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
1. Leading the month-end and year-end close process with support from two junior finance team members.
2. Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly group consolidation.
3. Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including coaching and upskilling the finance team.
4. Developing financial reporting and ensuring new acquisitions are properly accounted for.
5. Implementing new processes, such as PO systems and cost control measures.
6. Driving efficiencies and supporting internal projects.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
1. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 10 and 3).
2. Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
3. High attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
4. A passion for improving processes and driving change.
