Senior Integration Engineer Location: Gaydon Work Schedule: Day Shift Shift, 40 hours per week IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Hybrid: On-site and remote work Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated interior loadspace subject matter xxpert to join our Body Engineering team as a Senior Integration Engineer. This role will involve leading quality improvement projects, authoring DFMEAs, defining requirements and test cases, and driving innovation within the interior loadspace domain. The successful candidate will bring expertise in automotive design and development and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of Senior Integration Engineer Oversee and deliver quality improvement projects within the interior loadspace domain. Author and maintain Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documentation. Define and manage requirements and test cases to ensure project deliverables meet design specifications. Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and DMAIC to address and resolve design challenges. Contribute to innovation projects, leveraging new technologies and materials for interior loadspace applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Key Skills & Competencies Proficiency in DFMEA authoring and quality control methodologies. Strong capabilities in requirements management and test case definition. Expertise in problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, DMAIC ). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment. Qualifications & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and development within the automotive industry. Preferred: Proven track record in interior loadspace design and development within an automotive setting. Experience with hybrid working models and cross-functional collaboration.
