Interim Management Accountant - Hybrid Gloucester
I am currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to support one of our long term clients based in Gloucestershire. On site 2-3 days a week with the rest from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce monthly management reports and variance analysis for all companies.
2. Brief the Head of Finance on areas where there are concerns or may be a need for corrective action.
3. Support external auditors with year-end information as appropriate.
4. Assist with the preparation and oversee the upload to the financial system of annual budgets, liaising with senior management and other budget holders as required.
5. Support staff by providing financial information to assist with project management, budget management and fundraising bids.
6. Provide support to Project Managers on post-award financial performance reporting, claims and any project audit work that is necessary under funding agreement terms.
7. Act as lead on XLedger for Budget Holders and Project Managers.
8. Responsible for developing and implementing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information is included in grant claims.
9. Maintain financial procedural documentation on financial processes.
10. Provide training to staff as needed and give timely communication on any required changes in budgeting procedure.
11. Identify areas of weakness and implement improvement of budgeting systems.
