The Service itself has a variety of complex healthcare needs in peg feeding, epilepsy, and stoma care. There are PWS that require the following equipment - wheelchairs and hoists. This role relies heavily on good teamwork and good communication with the PWS, the staff team and professionals. Additional Information: Females with a driving license THE ROLE The role is rewarding as you will have the privilege to support such wonderful people live their lives with choice and dignity, supporting them to achieve their life goals and promoting independence along the way. No two days are the same This role include support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may be supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon. Assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning. This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, their families and help each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood life. You will find yourself getting stuck into fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and an interactive and practical hands-on activity.
