Job Title: Second Line Support Technician
Location: Walsall
Salary: GBP27,000 + Benefits (DOE)
Join our client's team as a Second Line Support Technician in Walsall. If you're skilled in technical support, problem-solving, and have excellent communication, we want to hear from you.
This job is shift-based: 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, and occasionally 10am-6pm. Occasional weekends will also be required.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide second line support for all our clients' technology systems.
2. Support colleagues with hardware, software, and IT queries.
3. Identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents within SLAs.
4. Release changes to the estate and onboard new solutions.
5. Collaborate with third parties for new store openings and system support.
6. Monitor system jobs, respond to alerts, and complete root cause analysis.
7. Offer suggestions for improving support services.
8. Install, remove, and record the movement of technology equipment.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in SQL, .Net, Microsoft Windows, and Office 365.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills and ITIL understanding.
4. Excellent documentation skills and IT security awareness.
5. Flexible working hours and occasional travel may be required.
