Job summary
The ideal background for this role would include experience working within a GP surgery such as receptionist or administrator. However all other relevant experience will be considered.
Main duties of the job
The role will be instrumental in supporting theadministration and delivery of local enhanced services and other PCN projectsthat help to improve health outcomes for our patients and help our PCN practicesto become more sustainable and resilient.
The post holder will work within an established PCN hub teamthat centralises call-recall functions for network practice and PCN services,administration of online consultations, and more.
Job Responsibilities
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited tothe following:
Supporting the delivery of PCN Enhanced Services acrossthe network, including Diabetes and Mental Health.
Supporting achievement against QOF indicators includingchildhood immunisations, cervical screening, Asthma, COPD and more.
contacting and responding to patient's requests for eachnetwork practice by telephone/email/SMS.
Supporting full utilisation of practice appointments andPCN Enhanced Access appointments.
Using a range of IT systems including the Microsoftpackage (Outlook, Excel, and Word), EMIS Web, and AccuRx.
Administrative support for PCN projects and other ad hocwork as it arises that enhances the resilience and sustainability of ournetwork practices.

Within the PCN team, we have Clinical Pharmacist, Dietician, Mental health practitioner, First Contact Physio, Nurses, care coordinators, Social prescribers.
