Just like our children, our waiting lists are growing! In each of our 20 settings, we create experiences that are special, unique, and child-focused. Our staff are specially selected for their loving and caring nature, as well as their expertise. The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background, or circumstances, you could provide experiences and opportunities that will help them be confident and reach their potential.
What makes us different
By joining us as part of our RAFAKidz family, we make a commitment to your ongoing development and future career opportunities. (Please read our staff testimonials on our website!) We ask that you bring a positive, caring, and enthusiastic attitude, and in return, we will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities, and you’ll be learning on the job from amazing colleagues! We offer subsidised childcare for colleagues to be able to bring their children with them, high-quality up-to-date training including using our software to electronically record your observations and updates. You’ll have ample annual leave and time off to relax and recharge over the Christmas period.
About our Early Years Coordinator role
You will need to have a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification and will be working closely with the Nursery Management team to strengthen and grow the quality of our care and our team. Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner will be a great starting point for this position as RAFAKidz will invest in you and your development to enable you to grow in this first-level management role. You will have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance along with proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
A key part of the role will be to support the coaching and mentoring of staff, helping the manager to identify staff training needs and to ensure the highest levels of training are provided to staff. You will create and maintain enriching and high-quality educational environments which are safe, caring, and stimulating at all times.
This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter. As part of our inclusive culture, we encourage applications across all cultural backgrounds, genders, and abilities.
Closing date Monday 12 May – interviews ongoing so please do not delay in applying, we’d love to hear from you.
