KNOWLEDGE :
Standard Grade in Maths and English or equivalent.
1 years’ experience of working in a Sport & Leisure or Customer Service role.
Training will be provided by Sport & Leisure (To be achieved within 1-3 months of appointment for existing S&L staff) for the following:
Training on equipment issuance
Training on lift attendant duties
Training on activity session provision

Post 1 - 7.5 hours per week, Fri 13:00-21:00
Post 2 - 18 hours per week, Mon 10:30-20:00, Tue 10:30-20:00
Post 3 - 18 hours per week, Mon 17:15-21:15, Sat 11:45-19:15, Sun 08:30-16:00
Post 4 - 18 hours per week, Thu 10:30-20:00 and Fri 10:30-20:00
Post 5 - 36 hours per week, 4 week working pattern including weekends and evenings
Weeks per year: 52
Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
The minimum actual salary for this position is £13.78 per hour.
Responsibilities
Compliance with the mandatory Cabinet Office PSN (Public Sector Network) Code of Connection requires the Council to meet a baseline personal security standard. This requires completion of a disclosure check for all employees who can access official information. The fee for this PSN Disclosure check will be met by you.
