We currently have an opportunity to join our company as an Assistant Director (Commercial). This role will be responsible for the Port of Felixstowe, parking enforcement, facilities management, CCTV and Home Alarms, cash collection, bereavement services and developing commercial waste services. As a business we also deliver waste collection, street cleaning, grounds maintenance and building cleaning and fleet, workshops and transport and more Your role: The responsibilities within the role will be to lead the operational teams at a time of large-scale business change. Developing and delivering a commercial strategy to support growth not only in income, but in standards and customer satisfaction too. You will be comfortable with change and developing new ways of working to deliver results and overall business profitability. While supporting the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring we actively engage with our front-line teams while developing and delivering a program of improvement across the business. What you will need: Our ideal candidate will be dynamic, with demonstratable senior management operational experience, with expertise and experience in delivering large frontline services and who is at home in a fast paced, commercial environment and can display a broad range of leadership styles to actively engage with established operational teams. The candidate must be able to inspire others to achieve results with the ability to think and act at a strategic level. Possessing strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to delivering results and developing people.
