Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Enfield Council, Adults Assessment Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Sound knowledge around the continuing health care process and procedure and the legislation that underpins this, including the Decision Support Tools, London Health Needs Tool.
2. Undertaking comprehensive social care assessments and/or reports, with detailed support plans, as appropriate.
3. Communicating closely and sensitively with family members of service users who are deceased.
4. Experience of completing Section 42 enquiries, Best Interest, and Mental Capacity Assessments.
5. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
6. 2 Month Temporary Contract.
7. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.
