Are you looking for a new career opportunity in a beautiful coastal setting? Our client, an independent veterinary practice in Cornwall, is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. With two sites in this stunning region, the practice has been providing top-quality animal care for over 30 years and remains proudly independent. As a family-run business, they are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of vets and nurses, ensuring you'll have plenty of time to develop and expand your skills.
Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced vet, the practice offers a supportive environment with a fair share of consults and operating shifts. Recent graduates will have the opportunity to scrub in on surgeries, helping to build their confidence and expertise. The team is also flexible in accommodating areas of particular interest, whether you want to focus on surgery or medicine.
The practice is RCVS accredited and boasts excellent facilities, including a recently refurbished main site with separate cat and dog wards, a new ultrasound room, a dedicated x-ray room with state-of-the-art equipment, and plans for a third consultation room. Their second site, which moved into a brand-new, purpose-built location in September 2023, offers consultation-only services with separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, a nurse consult room, and stunning views.
You will be welcomed into a friendly, close-knit team that enjoys socialising outside of work. As an RCVS-approved nurse training centre, the practice is proud of its experienced nursing team, led by a Head Nurse with over 15 years of experience. The practice itself is certified as a general practice under the RCVS practice standards scheme.
Cornwall's coastal beauty will be right at your fingertips. Whether you enjoy surfing, kayaking, wind sailing, or simply exploring the breath-taking coastline, this location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. With a nearby airport and direct train connections to London, the area is also easily accessible.
If this sounds like the perfect next step in your veterinary career, don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!
