Essex Highways manages and maintains one of the UK's largest highway networks, encompassing 5,000 miles of roads and an additional 5,000 miles of footways. This delivery partnership between Essex County Council and our contractual partner is dedicated to ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient network.
The Role
* Provide administrative support to the Member Highways Initiative project through using Confirm to ensure weekly reporting is correct.
* Carry out a regular weekly regime of system checking of the works delivered by the programme.
* Provide assurance that business processes are being followed and surface any issues as well as correcting where needed.
* Provide wider support to the team when needed.
* Assist with client data or audit requests as appropriate.
* Good standard of literacy and numeracy with previous experience of using Excel and Outlook.
* Good at problem solving, analytical, consistent decision making and accurate approach.
* Ability to focus on data centric tasks, spot patterns and correct errors.
* Quick learning, specifically as they will need to use our primary asset system - Confirm as well as follow and understand unfamiliar business processes.
