Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join an established, innovative company based in Sunderland.
The Mechanical Fitter role will be:
1. Full time day shift: Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm
2. An ongoing temporary assignment
3. Salary: £12.38 - £16.71 per hour DOE
4. Based on site at the company (no off site work required)
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will:
1. Be time served and have experience working in a manufacturing environment
2. Fabricate, install, and perform repairs to heavy machinery
3. Understand and work from engineering drawings
4. Operate hand tools and machines to grind
5. Pipe fitting experience would be desirable but not essential
