Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting Create tailored learning plans and activities to meet the specific needs of each student Assist students in developing academic skills, social skills, and emotional well-being Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN legislation and policies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Working Conditions: The role of SEN Tutor involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work is primarily conducted at students homes or in a public local library The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules.
