Technician University of Wishaw Hospital, Wishaw ML2 0DP Permanent/ Full Time – 37.5 Hours per week- Monday- Friday Salary -£31,892 - £39,735 per annum plus benefits (depending on experience) plus Serco benefits. Serco are recruiting for a Technician to join our team based at University of Wishaw Hospital. Within this role you will be providing a safe and efficient maintenance service throughout hospital as directed by the Estates Supervisors and Management. Main Accountabilities: Carrying out specialist work where required to include to include boiler servicing & repairs, testing & validation of decontamination equipment. Carrying out planned preventive and reactive maintenance to a wide range of plant and equipment covering electrical, mechanical and building services. You will also be required to use technical electronic test equipment, being able to measure, record and interpret readings. What you’ll need to do the role: Hold a Mechanical City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent/other qualifications with Building Service or engineering discipline. Knowledge and previous experience of working within a mechanical and plumbing role. Previous experience of working with electrical and air conditioning.
