Freelance Inventory Clerk – London
Earning Potential: £22,000 – £50,000
Commission: 35% per booking (avg. £46.50)

Howard Property Services is a well-established and highly respected property services company. They work with prestigious landowners and estate agents across London, offering their freelance clerks the opportunity to visit everything from high-spec new builds to standard rentals in some of the capital’s most desirable areas.
The Role:
* Travel across London to compile detailed inventory reports.
* Use a smartphone voice app to record notes, take photographs, and complete forms.
* Upload dictation and photos from home, then proofread your transcribed report for 100% accuracy.
* Work is offered in time slots, with a typical maximum of 3–4 properties per day.
* A minimum of 9 properties per week is expected (equivalent to 3 days’ work), and you can choose which days to work.
* Work can be offered city-wide or in areas convenient to you – the more locations you cover, the more work is available.
Requirements:
* Minimum 12 months' experience as an inventory clerk.
* Familiar with inventory software (e.g., Inventory Base).
* Strong English (GCSE C or above), excellent attention to detail, and confidence using Word, email, and file uploading/downloading.
* Comfortable commuting around London on foot and by public transport.
* Experience in lettings, property management, or admin/project coordination is beneficial.
* All candidates must submit a sample inventory.
* Completion of our condensed “Professional Standards Guidance Programme” is mandatory before attending any properties. This takes place over one morning or afternoon at our North London office and is provided free of charge.
