The post holder will provide financial management support to the Theatres & Anaesthesia Division which comprises of theatres & anaesthesia, medical physics and sterile services and has a combined direct expenditure budget of c£76m and 760 WTE. The postholder will also be responsible for the Surgery & Cancer Board Divisional Management.The post holder will provide financial support and advice to the division meeting both service operational needs and corporate deadlines. This will involve managing day to day financial support to the division and the full monthly financial reporting process. The post holder is expected to work within tight deadlines in a fast paced environment meeting both divisional and corporate requirements. You will have excellent attention to detail and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) building rapport with various managers and clinicians to support engagement and understanding of the financial position. The post-holder will have line management responsibility of an Assistant Management Accountant and will report to the Senior Finance Manager.
