GCSE Maths Tutor – Supporting Students Outside the Mainstream Classroom
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced GCSE Maths Tutor to work with pupils who are not currently in a mainstream classroom setting. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can provide tailored support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one or small-group tuition in GCSE Maths.
* Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Foster confidence and motivation in learners who may face educational barriers.
* Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience tutoring or teaching Maths at GCSE level.
* A strong understanding of SEN and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with diverse educational needs.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
