Sharepoint Engineer
Frimley OR Preston Based, Hybrid 1-2 days a week on site
£46.18 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
12 Month Contract initially.
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based In Frimley or Preston. 1-2 days per week on site. Can also be very flexible for the right candidate.
The role holder will:
1. Be responsible for working with the Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads and Stakeholders to translate demands/requirements into work packages that can then be delivered within agreed time and cost whilst maintaining agile principles.
2. Have the ability to adapt these plans in line with prioritisation of demand.
3. Work on a broad range of complex activities, in a variety of contexts, investigating, defining and resolving complex issues.
4. Assist in other areas of IT process, service and project.
5. Communicate and present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Influence customers while participating in activities relating to own area of expertise.
7. Make decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
8. Collaborate regularly with team members, users and customers, ensuring that user needs are being met throughout.
Knowledge:
1. Best practice application management in line with ITIL Processes.
2. Experience of working with multiple versions of SharePoint.
3. Have worked in a similar role or environment for at least three years.
4. Understanding of application development and promotion into multiple environments.
5. Awareness of business unit policies and procedures.
6. Experience managing Stakeholders.
7. Experience of using 3rd party tools such as Nintex, K2, Sharegate, Linkfixer.
Skills:
1. A good level of experience in supporting the delivery of projects and large change requests.
2. Ability to frequently manage changing priorities and multiple stakeholders while keeping end-objectives in sight.
3. Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners and work within cross-functional and remote teams.
4. Highly organised, motivated and detail conscious.
5. Can-do attitude, with impact and influencing style.
6. Committed to learning and continuous improvement.
7. The natural ability to work in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
8. Good communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in both formal and informal settings, articulating complex ideas to broad audiences.
Qualifications:
1. Trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training (desirable).
2. Microsoft MS900 (Mandatory), AZ900 (Desirable).
