Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and support the team of Supervisors, Linen Porters, Room Attendants, and Public Area Attendants.
* Oversee daily housekeeping operations for both Town Hall Hotel and 196 Bishopsgate Services Apartments, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to high cleanliness standards.
* Conduct regular Spot checks inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
* Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and smooth operations, even during peak times.
* Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, maintaining stock levels and ensuring functionality.
* Ensure all housekeeping staff are trained in Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations and adhere to safety protocols.
* Use the Opera Property Management System for managing room assignments, guest requests, and other housekeeping tasks.
Our Successful Housekeeping Manager Will Have:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a hotel housekeeping department.
* Strong team management and leadership skills.
* Great attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* In-depth knowledge of cleaning protocols, safety standards, and COSHH regulations.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in IT, with knowledge of Opera Cloud as an advantage.
