Sexual Offences Examiner/Experienced Forensic Physician - South East As part of the Forensic Medical Programme, Mountain Healthcare has developed a framework to develop key areas of knowledge and skills which will be invaluable in all specialties, especially A&E, GP, paediatrics, psychiatry and of course, Forensic Medicine As a Forensic Medical Examiner, you will learn through clinical placements and blended learning as well as receive further personal support with an allocated mentor. We will identify an individualised programme of education and exposure to clinical environments, providing opportunities for examinations, in addition to financial support whilst undertaking this post. This programme predominantly covers Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs), although there may be additional work in the adult service. To assist the Court in all relevant medico-legal matters. To practice as an independent medical practitioner exercising an independent clinical judgement. To treat all service users with courtesy, consideration and give appropriate treatment as expected within any doctor/patient relationship in another setting. Maintain current knowledge of any guidelines and publications produced by the British An understanding of and sensitive to the child’s developmental, social and emotional needs and their intellectual level. Completed Medical Degree & Completion of Foundation Training UK full residency for minimum 3 years are required for police background checks Basic Life Support and experience working in an acute environment Interest in Sexual Health Experience in A&E or acute medicine Experience in Sexual Health, Paediatrics or obstetrics Experience in Research and/or Audit Desirable Experience within General Practice, Emergency Medicine, sexual health, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare or Mental Health Diploma in Legal Medicine Licentiate/Membership of the FFLM
