Join us as a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant at Thirteen Group Role Overview: Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant to join our Strategic Finance team at Hudson Quay. The main purpose of this role is to support an effective treasury and financial planning service for Thirteen. This is an exciting role with the opportunity to learn more and meet the wider business. This is a hybrid role, so you ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week (every Thursday) from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Modelling : Support the financial planning process, including updating the 30 year financial model in Brixx and providing proactive financial modelling support across the business. Reporting and Analysis : Support with production of reports for leadership, Committees, and Board, and analyse financial data, including benchmarking, regulatory returns, and performance reporting. Treasury Management : Monitor and update cash and loans in the treasury management system, including accruals, forecasts, and interest/capital payments. Cash Flow Forecasting : Support the production of short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts. Security Register Management : Contribute to monitoring and updating the security register and support security charging exercises. About You: Ideally, you ll hold or be working towards a recognised accountant qualification or have significant demonstratable experience. Good understanding of accountant regulations and principles. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience with Brixx (Financial Planning) and Titan (Treasury management system) is desirable but not essential.
