As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO and other C-Suite members in achieving the organisation's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for managing the CEO's busy calendar and schedule, providing administrative support and making travel arrangements for all C-Suite members.You will be asked to conduct research and analysis on behalf of the CEO and a key element of the role will be the organisation and preparation of the monthly Board pack that informs our Investor Board meeting.
Your key responsibilities
* Manage a complex and detailed calendar for the CEO, proactively communicating changes, and anticipating and responding to scheduling conflicts.
* Provide administrative support on behalf of the CEO in the delivery of assignments and initiatives, and leadership and management of the organisation.
* Work closely with the CEO, other Chief Officers, our investor’s EAs and external stakeholders and customers to organise internal and external meetings.
* Coordinate monthly investors Board packs and any other departmental reports and documentation required for Board meetings and other internal/external meetings.
* Circulate agendas and papers, take and issue formal minutes as and when requested of departmental, cross functional, and senior / Board level meetings.
* Ensure follow up on action points from meetings on behalf of the CEO.
* Conduct research/analysis as required by the CEO.
* Manage all travel scheduling and arrangements for all the Chief Officers as required, including booking transport and hotels.
* Support the Chief People Officer with employee events as necessary
* Undertake any other duties that are typical for this role, as required by the CEO.
Experience
* Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant to the C-Suite.
* Experience working in a corporate, private sector environment preferred.
* Conducting research and analysis on behalf of the C-Suite (advantageous.)
* High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and particularly with PowerPoint.
* Thorough experience of the preparation of Board packs for key stakeholders (beyond simply collating reports).
* Producing reports on behalf of the C-Suite (written and in PowerPoint format).
* Experience in the technology and/or insurance industries (advantageous).
