The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior or Semi Senior to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services to our diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the firm’s growth. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review statutory financial statements and management accounts for a variety of clients. Ensure all accounting records and disclosures comply with relevant accounting standards (e.g., UK GAAP, IFRS. Reconcile complex accounts and perform variance analysis. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality in the preparation of accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Address client queries and concerns, providing practical and strategic solutions. Assist in onboarding new clients and identifying opportunities for additional services. Plan, execute, and complete statutory audits in compliance with auditing standards and firm procedures. Lead and manage audit engagements, including team supervision, risk assessment, and work allocation. About You: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent either part qualification or fully qualified or finalist. Qualified by experience Previous experience in an audit role preferably within an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
