Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented construction estimator. The construction estimator should obtain all relevant project specifications, determine the most appropriate building materials, and secure favorable prices on all resources. You should also inspect trends in construction to determine whether your estimates are reasonable and competitive.
To ensure success as a construction estimator, you should be able to translate project requirements into concrete figures with ease. A top-notch construction estimator will adhere to financial constraints without compromising on our high standards.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
* Evaluate offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and cost changes.
* Resolves cost by analyzing and collecting info.
* Writes up and presents budgets, reports, and project plans.
* Develops bids for construction projects.
* Works closely with architects and other professionals.
* Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff.
* Navigate and understand building codes.
* Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required.
* Monitors construction processes.
* Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction.
Construction Estimator Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong math skills, including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic.
* Ability to navigate specifications and plans.
* Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects.
* Ability to handle multiple assignments at once.
* Knowledge of the latest building codes.
* Close attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business or economics or other related field.
* High School Diploma and at least 3 years of related experience is required.

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday.

* Carlisle, PA 17013: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
License/Certification:
* Driver's License (Required).
