Role Overview:
They arelooking for a level 2 qualified apprentice to join their teamto complete a Level 3 Nursery Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and support while working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. You will be involved in the daily care and education of young children, ensuring they are supported in their developmental milestones and enjoying a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities for children aged 0-5 years, promoting their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
* Assist in the observation and assessment of children's progress and developmental needs, maintaining accurate records.
* Provide a high standard of care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and welfare at all times.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach to care.
* Ensure that nursery routines are followed, including mealtimes, nap times, and group activities.
* Help maintain a clean and tidy nursery environment, including toys, equipment, and learning spaces.
* Support the nurserys safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure setting.
* Attend training sessions, meetings, and complete coursework to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
* A positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
* Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* A willingness to learn and undertake a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
* Previous experience in a childcare setting.
* An understanding of early childhood development and safeguarding principles.
* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a supportive environment.

Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
* To not already hold a childcare at level 3 or above
* To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
* To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
