Senior Residential Support Worker
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary Range: £32,690 - £35,792 per annum (based on experience, including sleep-ins)
Location: Newhaven
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our client's children's home in Newhaven. In this position, you will:
1. Plan, manage, and lead shifts to ensure children are safe and engaged throughout the day.
2. Take a proactive role in safeguarding the care and welfare of each child in placement.
3. Ensure compliance with each child's Placement Plan at all times.
4. Offer guidance and support to all Residential Workers.
5. Supervise designated staff members and document this in their Supervision Sheet.
6. Address any concerns with the Registered Manager as necessary.
Qualifications
1. NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
