Amity Law & Smoove are experiencing continued growth and now have a new opportunity to extend our team further. We are looking for an Onboarding Assistant to join our team at our Horwich office.

Location: Paragon House, Horwich, Bolton
Hours: Full time hours 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday (flexibility considered)
In office/Hybrid working: Hybrid working available after successful probation period
Salary & Benefits: Up to £22k DOE, 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays & Birthday off
ROLE OVERVIEW:
To work as part of a team to achieve effective new client onboarding. Working to deadlines to ensure clients receive a quote and are onboarded in accordance with published SLAs. Support with opening and allocation of post, ensuring matters are allocated on the day of receipt.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ability to understand the differing areas of onboarding and liaising with clients and various third party referrers/conveyancing panels (training provided).
2. Understanding of conveyancing legal process, client care, anti money laundering regulations, data protection and other regulations that bind the legal industry, working effectively within the frameworks.
3. Provides quotations and performs chase routines according to published SLAs.
4. Ensures onboarding of clients captures all necessary and relevant requirements before transferring to case handlers.
5. Ability to work on own initiative, successfully prioritises workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
6. Complies with internal and external regulatory requirements including but not limited to AML Guidance, Data Protection, CLC Outcomes, Client Care, published KPIs and SLAs.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Experience of working in a client-focused legal environment, preferably in conveyancing.
2. Utilises a clear escalation route to the line manager to sense check any concerns.
3. IT literate, with experience of using legal systems required to enhance business performance and meet client expectations.
