About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Larwood Academy Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health related difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to pupils, focusing on their individual needs and progress.
* Assist teachers with whole-class instruction, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
* Develop and implement behaviour management strategies, working closely with teachers and other support staff.
* Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
* GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).
* Experience working with children in a mainstream or special school setting, preferably with a focus on behaviour management.
* Ability to remain positive and patient when working with challenging behaviour.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
