This is an opportunity to join an experienced and qualified team that supports people with mental health conditions. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping service users to lead a full and valued life, assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and contributing to their recovery journeys. The role offers the chance to develop your skills and advance your career, with a range of training and development opportunities available through Elysium Healthcare.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Support Worker, you will join a team that supports adults with complex mental health needs in a step-down service between Three Valleys Hospital and independent living. Your responsibilities will include assisting service users with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care, as well as contributing to their individual recovery plans, promoting independence, and supporting community-based rehabilitation. You will also be involved in writing and updating care plans, recording electronic notes, and liaising with external healthcare services. The role may require independent lone working, medication administration, and contributing to Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings, so previous experience in these areas is desirable.
