About the role We are pleased to go to market for the search of experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join us at our Bradford manufacturing plant. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you be responsible for executing planned and preventative maintenance activities on a wide range of instrumentation and electrical equipment. You will work closely with multi-disciplined maintenance teams to ensure continued production and keep machinery down times to a minimum What you'll be doing as an Electrical Maintenance Technician Working to EHS requirements within the E&I Maintenance Team you will be executing planned and preventative maintenance activities on a wide range of electrical equipment You will have a Comprehensive knowledge of E&I standards and procedures, especially around Safety Instrumented Systems and ATEX as is required for a top tier COMAH Site You will be responsible for carrying out regulatory compliance inspections and testing i.e. SIS Proof Testing, Pressure Regulations and Compex Close Inspections You will be able to identify root cause of equipment failure and propose solutions needed to carry out required work. The role requires a good understanding of instrument and electrical equipment with the ability to install, fault find, inspect, test and repair. A good communicator, you will liaise with managers and engineers regarding production / operation issues. About you You will have ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ or C&G Level 3 in Electrical Engineering Experience of working as an industrial electrician ideally within the Chemical Industry (or a process/production/manufacturing industry). High levels of IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
