Alexander Daniels is currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a leading family owned business based in Birmingham on a full time basis. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the end to end monthly payroll and maintaining accurate payroll data and records. Your duties include: Responsible for processing monthly payrolls. Maintaining accurate employee records. Process Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC as required. Resolving pay-related queries, correcting any errors, and working with internal stakeholders to accurately complete payroll requests. Producing and reconciling payroll journals to ensure correct information is reported back to senior leadership. Downloading reports from HMRC and reconciling to PAYE control accounts. Other ad-hoc duties. Essential requirements: Excellent data entry and data cleaning skills. Familiarity with payroll software. Knowledge of legislation and procedures pertaining to salary deductions. Adherence to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality. Ability to work on own initiative, working within a team and the ability to meet deadlines.
