BACKEND ENGINEER INTERN
What You'll Do
We are looking for a backend engineer intern to join our diverse team and help us deliver the future of parental controls. The FreeKWS platform provides a toolset that helps Epic and other developers, both large and small, engage with audiences of all ages responsibly. We have developed a high-availability, highly scalable platform, but there is always room for improvement, and this is where you will come in. You will work closely with some very talented and experienced engineers to optimize our services and deliver new features to parents and players.
In this role, you will
* Be an active member of the team and attend our ceremonies
* Write code in line with the team’s best practices
* Be responsible for delivering into production the tickets you pick up in the sprint
* Work collaboratively with your fellow engineers and ask for help when needed
* Actively participate in team meetings and to ask questions about new concepts/patterns
What we're looking for
* Familiarity with typescript
* Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
* Someone who is keen to learn
* Good communication skills and technical level of English (B2 or above)
* Familiarity with the various AWS services
* Familiarity with NestJS framework
This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
