Administrator. Burscough Manor Care Home
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £12.42 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Burscough Manor Care Home is an 80-bedded facility offering complex, dementia, palliative, and general nursing care. With a purpose-built layout and a dedicated focus on specialist care, we are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team and support the efficient running of the home as we continue to grow.
As an Administrator, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting staff and residents, and assisting with the daily operations of the home. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping a positive culture in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure resident and staff records are regularly updated.
Provide support to residents and families, both in person and on the phone.
Process weekly staff hours and monthly payroll.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate room allocation and availability.
Ensure HR files are up to date, including Right to Work, contracts, and DBS checks.
Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
Assist the Home Manager with daily administrative tasks and requests.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What are we looking for?
Strong administrative skills and experience in a generalist administrative role.
Proficiency in payroll processing and HR processes, with a good understanding of customer service.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to confidently communicate both in writing and over the phone.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
Comfortable using various systems to input and manage data.
