This position is highly suited to an engineer or technical professional who wants to work in a customer/sales focused role, ideally with knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Selling into the Automotive industry (Commercial & Specialist vehicles) through bespoke projects, which will involve a consultative approach. This role does NOT involve cold calling, selling from a catalogue, or competing on price.

Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer:
* Selling bespoke and standardised solutions into the UK specialist vehicle market (Light commercial vehicles, commercial vehicles). The company has a high market share and is recognized for high quality products & customer service.
* The role will focus on account management and growth of existing or lapsed customers.
* Travel is required (a full UK driving license is necessary). Expect to spend 3-4 days visiting customers with 1-2 days in the office or working from home.
* You will be interacting with engineers and design teams, necessitating strong technical knowledge. A consultative approach is essential, with knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical engineering or the automotive/OEM sector.
