Are you seeking an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in Acquired Brain Injury? We are expanding our interdisciplinary therapy team and looking for a creative, reflective and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join us.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with an interest in Acquired Brain Injury/Stroke looking to develop their skills and career in this specialist and enormously rewarding area. You will be joining our team of experienced and enthusiastic occupational therapists to deliver bespoke rehabilitation programmes including support to help people back to work (vocational rehabilitation).
Icanho is a non-residential highly specialist community-based brain injury service with its main base in Stowmarket Suffolk operating Monday to Friday (within 45 minutes’ drive of Cambridge or Colchester and 20 minutes away from Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds), and a satellite service in Bungay open 2 days a week.
The service is jointly commissioned by NHS and Suffolk CC run by the national charity Shaftesbury. Our clinical work is undertaken as an interdisciplinary team taking referrals from and having close links with Acutes, level 2 bed providers, Early Supported Discharge teams and other community organisations and teams.
We work with people in our award-winning, purpose-built centre, at our Waveney satellite base, in clients’ homes and in the community based on need.
We welcome informal enquiries/visits prior to application.
