EAL / ESOL Tutors for Young People We are looking for EAL / ESOL Tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. At Targeted Provision, our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of Support Specialists. This role is perfect for EAL / ESOL teachers eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner to raise their engagement and improve their educational journey. What we offer our EAL / ESOL Tutors: Flexible part-time to full-time hours to suit your schedule Occasional online teaching assignments, working from home Extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including access to the full Tes CPD suite A Support Team dedicated to ensuring successful placements Invitation to join our tutor community to share best practices and resources Being part of a child-centred company committed to transforming support for vulnerable young people The EAL / ESOL Tutor role: Providing tuition to young people referred by local authorities and schools Supporting their educational and social-emotional journey with flexible, holistic trauma-informed tutoring EAL / ESOL Tutor tasks and responsibilities: Planning tutoring/mentoring sessions Providing engaging sessions to meet the young person's needs Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress EAL / ESOL Tutor requirements: Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g., CELTA, TEFL, TESOL) Minimum 2 years teaching experience Experience working with young people with EAL Knowledge of safeguarding processes Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost) Two professional references Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK It is required to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
