The Elbow Room is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, passionate, and level-headed Catering and Bar Manager to join our close-knit team and run daily shifts. The Elbow Room is an established, exciting, and competitive business. As a Catering and Bar Manager, you will need to stay calm under pressure, be capable of inspiring and encouraging the bar and floor staff, and be professional with customers at all times ensuring they are offered the best service. You will support the Manager with any complaints and any issues with staff. You will have the opportunity to come up with new promotional ideas and will be able to help shape the business.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Plans catering or bar services and supervises staff.
2. Decides on the range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided, discusses customer's requirements for special events or occasions.
3. Purchases or directs the purchasing of supplies and arranges for the preparation of accounts.
4. Verifies that the quality of food, beverages, and waiting service meets requirements and ensures kitchen and dining areas are kept clean in compliance with statutory requirements.
5. Checks that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss and to keep within budget limits.

Salary: £39,000 – £42,000 yearly
