Our client is a leading provider of IT Support Solutions within both private and public sectors. Established for over a decade, they are hugely successful and respected as a managed service provider. We are now looking for a 1st Line IT Support to join the team. This would suit an ambitious individual with good 1st line support experience and ideally the relevant education such as an IT degree. Great communication skills and desire to learn and develop further technical skills within IT support are a must. The company are absolutely superb to work for and provide a great environment and culture with great training and development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities as 1st Line IT Support
* Answering the telephone to our customers and accurately logging client support issues into our service desk software
* Troubleshooting IT & VOIP problems
* Working with our 2nd & 3rd line engineers to resolve more complicated incidents
* Providing strong server and desktop support across our customer networks
* Keeping clients updated as to the progress of their request / issue status
* Maintaining agreed SLA’s, updating ticket information as you work from diagnostics through to resolution
* Liaise with third parties and vendors to resolve incidents with root cause analysis
* Maintaining a high degree of customer service
* Working to deadlines and adapting quickly to a fast-changing environment
Main Skills and Experience as 1st Line IT Support
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Ability to respond to customers under SLA and work under pressure
* Customer focused
* Possesses knowledge of client / server and Internet systems architectures
* Commercial/technical knowledge and experience
* Experience of a support desk environment, ideally with an MSP
* Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory
