Are you an experienced HVAC professional with a strong focus on heating systems? Our client, a leader in commercial HVAC rental services, is seeking a HVAC Technical Manager (Heating Biased) to join their team in Andover. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of heating and domestic hot water (DHW) projects ranging from 5kW to 2MW boilers and portable units.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and support the delivery of heating and DHW HVAC projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
2. Provide technical expertise in heating systems, including gas and oil boiler applications, and navigate plantrooms mechanically.
3. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, recommending tailored solutions for maximum satisfaction.
4. Work closely with internal teams, offering technical support and troubleshooting to engineers on the ground.
5. Ensure health and safety compliance throughout project delivery and maintain high-quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
1. Minimum NVQ Level 3 in HVAC or related M&E field.
2. 2+ years' experience in HVAC, with a focus on heating and DHW systems.
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a mechanically minded approach.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects and sites, while working collaboratively with the team.
5. Preparedness to support cooling projects as needed.
Desirable Skills:
1. HVAC design software experience.
2. Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH.
3. Previous project management experience in the hire industry.
