I am a young boy who has Down's Syndrome and sensory needs. I like going to the park and anything to do with transportation and music. I am very friendly and sociable but I need one to one support as I have little awareness of danger. I am looking for someone who is patient, kind, enthusiastic and able to work well to maintain a level of consistency. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs preferred.

Concerning the position
You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay calculated. A DBS will need to be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs are met by Swansea council.
