Role Summary: As the General Manager, you will lead a team of skilled field service engineers, overseeing operations, service delivery, and customer satisfaction across a diverse range of UK sites. Your primary focus will be to provide effective leadership, ensuring that customer commitments are not only met but consistently exceeded. This role requires travel to our service areas and close collaboration with clients to maintain high standards of service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of field service engineers across multiple UK locations, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.
- Drive the performance of the field service team, implementing best practices to maximize efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring service commitments are fulfilled to the highest standard.
- Manage the planning and scheduling of maintenance, repair, and inspection services for ground support equipment across the region.
- Actively monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to align operational goals with the company's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior operations or general management role, preferably within the ground support, aviation, or transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to travel extensively to support operations across the UK
- Valid UK driver's license.
