An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nursing assistant to join the Paediatric Surgery team on Acorn ward at Hull Royal Infirmary. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for this busy ward.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the registered nurse in delivery of direct patient care. The post holder will work under indirect supervision of the registered nurse and will undertake tasks and duties allocated to them.
The hours of work will include day shifts only including weekend cover.
The successful applicant will have a positive and caring attitude, have excellent communication skills, and show a commitment to the trust values, and be motivated to learn and share new ideas on improving the experience for patients and their families.
Supporting Nursing staff on a busy 22 bedded surgical ward. This will including washing and general cares of patients, help with feeding and meals, chaperoning, accompanying to scans and x-rays. Assisting with cleaning, stores and general organisation of the ward as needed.
