The Role
:
1. Provide day to day support to ensure all facets of the warehouse & logistics team, including despatch planning and stock control and operational control systems are in place and are adhered to.
2. Ensure no past due customer orders by reviewing regularly with the demand planner, reacting quickly to action messages.
3. Analysing stockholding ensuring stock value for internal KPI’s is maintained.
4. Co-ordinate the sales order process and dispatch of orders, liaising with the warehouse team.
5. Provide first line contact to all third-party logistics providers, co-ordinating the movement and storage of stock identifying opportunities for improvement while ensuring a high level of customer service.
6. Advise of shortages and deal with operations issues of refusals of delivery, damages and late arrivals.
7. Assist with adhoc requests and tasks as and when required.
The Person:
8. Supply chain/logistics experience within Manufacturing, FMCG or Foodservice
9. A self- starter, able to motivate, plan, prioritize and execute methodically
10. Confident user of Microsoft Office applications and business systems
11. Excellent communication and organization skills
12. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders
13. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and BRC requirements (desirable)
